The vegetarian recipe for Black Bean and Carrot Soup:

Ingredients
- 1 cup black beans (soak in water for 1 hour and drain)
- 1 carrot (dice)
- 5 cups water
Seasonings
- 1/2 tsp salt
Method
- Place all the ingredients in a pot and simmer over low heat for 1 hour.
- Add salt and stir well.
- Serve.
