The vegetarian recipe for Vegan Hash Browns:

Ingredients

  • 3 potatoes (steam, peel and mash)
  • 1 tbsp self-rising flour
  • 2 tbsp wheat flour
  • 1/3 cup wheat germ

Seasonings

  • 1/2 tsp salt

Method

  1. Combine mashed potatoes, self-rising flour, wheat flour and salt.
  2. Form into hash brown shapes and coat in wheat germ.
  3. Fry until golden brown.
  4. Dish out and drain.
  5. May serve with Vegan Mayonnaise.
