Vegetarian Recipe: Stir-Fried Rice Noodles (Char Kway Teow) Posted by Susan Siow | Dec 7, 2011 | Pasta, Updates, Vegetarian Recipes The vegetarian recipe for Stir-Fried Rice Noodles (Char Kway Teow): Ingredients 1 kg rice noodles/kway teow (loosen) 300 g bean sprouts 300 g cabbage (cut into strips) 3 dried chilies (cut in half) some limes 3 tbsp oil 1/4 cup water Seasonings 3 tbsp dark soy sauce 2 tbsp soy sauce Method Heat oil, stir-fry dried chilies until fragrant. Switch to high heat and stir-fry bean sprouts. Add cabbage and stir evenly. Add rice noodles and combine. Add dark soy sauce + soy sauce and stir-fry for about 5 minutes. Sprinkle water over and stir evenly. Dish out and serve with Seasoned Soya Mince, Vegetarian Belacan Chili Paste and lime juice.
