Ingredients

  • 1 cup of wholemeal flour
  • 1 cup of self-rising flour
  • 2 tablespoons of cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup of wheat flakes
  • 1/2 cup of oil

Seasonings

  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sugar

Method

  • Combine all ingredients + seasonings + water (adequate) and mix into a dough.
  • Divide the dough into small portions.
  • Roll and shape into round buns.
  • Then, place into a baking tray and leave aside for 20 minutes.
  • Lastly, put in the oven and bake at 160°c for about 20 minutes.
  • Serve with blueberry jam.
