Vegetarian Recipe: Apple Pie Posted by Susan Siow | Sep 15, 2011 | Updates, Vegetarian Recipes, Western Ingredients 5 apples (peel, remove seeds and core, cut into cubes, puree and set aside) 4 cups of wheat flour 1 cup of oil Seasonings 1 cup of sugar Method Put apple puree + sugar into a pot, constantly stir and cook until the liquid is absorbed. Combine wheat flour + 1/2 cup of water + oil and knead the dough. Divide the dough into 2 portions. Spread some wheat flour on the table and roll each dough into a round pastry. Lay one pastry into a round baking pan, gentle pour the apple filling over and spread evenly. Then, cover the pie with the other round pastry. Put in a 180°c oven and bake for about 30 minutes. Cool before slicing and serve.
