Dough
- 1 cup wholemeal flour (sieve)
- 1 cup wheat flour (sieve)
- 1/2 tsp instant dry yeast
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Filling
- 4 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Method
- Combine all the dough ingredients.
- Knead the dough until smooth and let it rest for 1 hour.
- Roll out a rectangle dough and spread the vegetable oil on it.
- Evenly sprinkle the cinnamon powder and sugar over the dough, then roll up the dough into a cylinder shape.
- Cut the cylinder-shaped dough into small rolls.
- Gently flatten the rolls and place it in a floured baking tray.
- Let the rolls rest for 30 minutes.
- Place the rolls into a pre-heated oven.
- Bake at 160°C for about 30 minutes.
- Lastly, you may want to top the baked rolls with some icing sugar.
