The vegetarian recipe for ‘Fried Okra’:
servings – 4 to 6
Ingredients
- 15 okras/’ladies fingers’
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1/2 cup wheat flour
- adequate water
Seasonings
- 1 tsp salt
Method
- Combine self-rising flour, wheat flour, salt and water to form a frying batter.
- Heat oil, coat the okras in the frying batter and fry until golden brown.
- Dish out, drain and serve.
