The vegetarian recipe for Vegetarian Belacan Chili Paste:

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp vegetarian belacan powder
  • 6 tbsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp vegetable oil

Method

  • Heat oil, saute vegetarian belacan powder + chili powder until fragrant.
  • Add some water + soy sauce + sugar + salt, stir evenly and briefly simmer.
  • Serve.
