Vegetarian Recipe: Stewed Kelp and Bean Curd Cubes in Mushroom Sauce Posted by Susan Siow | Sep 20, 2011 | Bean Curd, Updates, Vegetarian Recipes Ingredients 1/2 kelp (soak in water until soft, cut into strips and set aside) 1 piece of soft bean curd (cut into fourths) 1/2 cup of soya mince (heat 1/2 cup of oil and stir-fry until fragrant, dish out and set aside) Seasonings 1/4 teaspoon of salt 1 tablespoon of vegetarian oyster sauce (made from shiitake mushroom) Method In some remaining oil, stir-fry kelp strips + salt + vegetarian oyster sauce + some water. Add bean curd cubes and briefly stir-fry. Stew for about 5 minutes. Dish out and top with stir-fried soya mince. Serve.
