Vegetarian Recipe: Baked Soya Dumplings with Turmeric Leaf Posted by Susan Siow | Sep 16, 2011 | Delights, Updates, Vegetarian Recipes Ingredients 1/2 loaf of vegetarian fish/素食乌柳宜 su shi wu liu yu (defrost and mince) 5 turmeric leaves 1 teaspoon of tapioca starch Seasonings 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1/2 teaspoon of curry powder 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon of sugar Method Heat oil (1/2 cup) and stir-fry minced vegetarian fish + salt + curry powder + turmeric powder + sugar until fragrant. Dish out and combine with tapioca starch. Divide the filling into 5 portions. Wrap each portion in a turmeric leaf. Fasten the dumpling with a toothpick. Put in a 180°c oven and bake for about 20 minutes. Serve.
