Vegetarian Recipe: Steamed Hundred Layer Tofu with Abalone Mushroom Posted by Susan Siow | Jul 16, 2011 | Chinese New Year, Delights, Festive, Updates, Vegetarian Recipes Ingredients 1 small packet of oyster mushroom 16 slices of hundred layer tofu/百叶豆腐 bai ye dou fu 2 tomatoes (cut each into 6 wedges) 1/2 ginger (shred and pan-fry) 2 tablespoons of oil (stir-fry) Seasonings 1 teaspoon of sugar 1 tablespoon of soy sauce 1/8 teaspoon of vegetarian seasoning Method Arrange the ingredients side by side – one wedge of tomato, one slice of hundred layer tofu and one abalone mushroom. Sprinkle over sugar + soy sauce + vegetarian seasoning + pan-fried shredded ginger + stir-fried oil + 1/2 cup of water. Steam for 15 minutes and serve.
