Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup black-eyed peas (soak in water for 2 hours)
  • 300 g red cabbage (cut into strips)
  • 7 cups water

Seasonings

  • 1 tsp salt

Method

  1. Place black-eyed peas, red cabbage and water in a pot.
  2. Cook over medium heat for 30 minutes.
  3. Add salt and stir well.
  4. Ladle into soup bowls and serve.
