The vegetarian recipe for Sponge Bread:

Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 cup wheat flour
  • 2 tsp dry yeast
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cups water

Seasonings

  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp salt

Method

  • Place all ingredients and seasonings in a mixer.
  • Whisk until smooth and fine.
  • Gently pour the batter into a greased rectangle cake pan.
  • Then, put in a preheated oven and bake at 160°c for about 45 minutes.
  • Cool, slice and serve.
